Ex-AGF Adoke faults Jonathan’s claim during launch of “My Transition Hours”

One of the claims former President Goodluck Jonathan made during the launch of his book, “My Transition Hours”, has been faulted by the Ex-Attorney-General and Minister of Justice during his administration, Mohammed Bello Adoke (SAN).

Jonathan was reported to have said during the event in Abuja, where his book was launched on his 61st birthday, that he rejected counsels by the then Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister for the Economy, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Adoke, then Aviation Minister, Osita Chidoka, who was a compere at the book launch; and his then Senior Special Assistant on Domestic Affairs, Warpamowei Dudafa, not to concede defeat to President Buhari in 2015.

However, in his response, Adoke suggested Jonathan turned the truth on its head. This was as he claimed that on the contrary it was he, Okonjo-Iweala, Chidoka and Owei-Dudafa that actually advised the ex-president to accept defeat.
